Wonderful old time music by Terry, son Danny, and uncle Steve.
The Bells put the 'family' and the 'fun' into traditional melodies
from early American times and from across the sea.
People love to clap, tap, sometimes dance, and sometimes
sing along to these barndance tunes, Irish jigs, blues,
sea shanties and Appalachian sounds.

The Bells bring a ton of talent and a pile of instruments -

Pick and Slide style guitars
A 1920's antique Tenor Banjo
An Anglo Concertina
An Irish Bouzouki handmade by Terry
Fiddles, Grant Dutcher of Michigan being the maker of one from 1924
A bag of Harmonicas
A pre Civil War style goatskin handmade banjo
and other assorted goodies!!!

~ ~ ~ About The Bells ~ ~ ~

Terry Bell is a 30 year veteran of traditional music. Playing with The Thumb Ramblers, Stringtime, Drumhilla, and Sonas, he has ventured into almost every kind of acoustic music style and instrument. In his spare time, he builds replicas of historical and hard to find instruments.

Steve Bell is a fiddler with that 'old time swing,' as one listener put it. Steve played in a duet with Matt Epperson, Madra Lonn, and is from Grand Rapids. The traditional dance music of Early America, Ireland, Scotland, and Cape Breton are Steve's favorites. History, musical history, and fiddle music are Steve's passions.

Danny Bell was playing in public when he was 12 years old. Now 16, he has mastered the tenor banjo, mandolin, octave mandolin, concertina, and guitar. Listeners have questioned how he can play so well being so young. He says, "It's in my blood." Danny also plays the trumpet in the school band, his favorite subject! He lives at home with mom and dad (Terry) in Caro.
